ADHD Treatment & Executive Functioning Coaching

ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that impacts individuals across the lifespan. It impairs functioning at work, school, at home, and/or in relationships.

Behavioral treatment and therapy for ADHD can help.

Common challenges with ADHD include:

  • Time management issues

  • Procrastination

  • Inattentiveness and/or hyperfocus

  • Trouble prioritizing

  • Low self esteem, depression, and anxiety

Our approach to therapy for ADHD

Dr. Monaco uses evidence-based treatments including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to address ADHD and related difficulties. Her approach to addressing ADHD and improving executive functioning skills includes helping clients learn:

  • Organizational Skills

  • Time Management Skills

  • Mindfulness Skills

  • Emotion Regulation Skills

Medication is often a key part of managing ADHD, in addition to learning and practicing new coping skills. I do not prescribe medication, but I will collaborate with your prescribing physician and refer clients to psychiatrists when appropriate.

I can teach you behavioral skills to improve your executive functioning and lead a more fulfilling life.
